A new, abundant locality of  Elodea nuttallii  ( Hydrocharitaceae ) in Gdańsk Pomerania
(N Poland).

The invasive alien hydrophyte Elodea nuttallii (Planch.) H. St. John was found in Gdańsk (Opływ Motławy – ATPOL square DA8078 and DA8088) from July to September 2023 (Figs 1, 2). This is the first abundant locality of this species in Gdańsk Pomerania. This new invasive plant in Gdańsk Pomerania grew in waters with high calcium concentration (66.1 mg Ca dm–3), varying depths (0.4–2.5 m) and salinity (0,1–1.0‰).
