ABSTRACT
New localities of Potentilla filiformis were found in the Polish part of the Western
Sudetes (Pogórze Izerskie foothills, Pogórze Kaczawskie foothills), where a few individuals of the
species grow on isolated basaltic hills, mainly in psammophilous grassland (Diantho-Armerietum
elongatae). The localities, together with adjacent localities in Germany and the Czech Republic,
are at the northern limit of the European geographical range of the species.
