ABSTRACT
Najas marina
L. is a common species worldwide but is relatively rare in Poland, where its threat status is NT
(near threatened). To date, five localities of this species are known in the Polish Carpathians, where its
regional status is VU (vulnerable). A new locality of the species was found in the Rożnów Reservoir in
2018 (ATPOL squares EF95, EG04, EG05; Figs 1–3). It occurs in many aggregates scattered throughout
the reservoir.
