ABSTRACT
A new locality of Erechtites hieracifolia (L.) Raf. ex DC. was found in Jankowice village (Oświęcim
Basin). Two fruiting individuals were found within ATPOL square DF6641. In Poland the species is considered
to be regionally invasive; its occurrence range is increasing. This synanthropic species stand is
located on a freshly formed edge of a waterbody formed after extraction of aggregate.
