About the Journal

 
Fragmenta Floristica et Geobotanica Polonica is a nationwide scientific journal, published by the W. Szafer Institute of Botany of the Polish Academy of Sciences since 1994. It covers a broad spectrum of botanical research and is closely associated with the National Biodiversity Collection of Recent and Fossil Organisms at the W. Szafer Institute of Botany (Herbarium KRAM). The journal provides a platform for documenting and sharing knowledge on native flora and vegetation, as well as on the dynamics of their transformation.
The journal accepts original research articles in systematics and taxonomy, anatomy, cytology and embryology, phytogeography, plant and fungal ecology, biodiversity change and conservation, paleoecology, archaeobotany and the history of botany. Review articles, syntheses, polemics, literature reviews and memoirs are also welcome. Articles are published in Polish, with extended summaries in English.
