ABSTRACT
Only one specimen of Ambrosia artemisiifolia was discovered growing among ornamental shrubs on a city lawn in the Wola district (western part of Warsaw). This is the third locality of it found in Warsaw. Ambrosia artemisiifolia is a widespread invasive species native to the eastern prairies of North America. It is a noxious weed, naturalized in boreal, temperate and tropical Eurasia, Africa, Macaronesia, Australia, New Zealand, Oceania and Hawaii, as well as Alaska, Canada and the southwestern United States.
