ABSTRACT
A new locality of Festuca drymeia was found in
2010 in the Milicz Forest District (forest section 129f) in Lower Silesia (Fig. 1). This is its only lowland
locality in Poland, situated in lowland acid beech forest Luzulo pilosae-Fagetum. The local population was
composed of many tufts, with only four flowering and later fruiting panicles, covering ~2 m2 (Fig. 2a). It
is advisable to monitor the new locality annually.
