ABSTRACT
A previously unknown population of the critically endangered Adenophora liliifolia was observed in 2012 during seed-gathering for the FlorNaturOB project, and later confirmed in 2018. It is located on the Kąty Natura 2000 site (PLH060010; Kąty II village, Lublin Province, central Roztocze region). This finding is surprising because the environs of Kąty II village are among the areas most often studied in south-eastern Poland, and are under active conservation.
