ABSTRACT
Erechtites
hieracifolia (L.) Raf. ex DC. is a rare synanthropic plant (kenophyte) in the Polish Carpathians (Fig. 1).
A new locality of this species was found near the Zielona estate in the town of Sułkowice (Myślenice
County) in the Pogórze Wielickie foothills (49°51′32″N, 19°47′28″E; ATPOL square DF88). It is located
in disturbed acidophilous mixed forest (similar to Pino-Quercetum association). In 2016 the population of
this species was relatively abundant (~100 specimens); in 2019 only one specimen was observed. This is
the first locality known in the Pogórze Wielickie foothills.
