This paper presents the first recorded occurrences of the South American neophyte
Egeria densa in Poland, currently known from two locations in the southern part of the country
in slow-flowing, shallow, eutrophic waters of lowland rivers – the Vistula River near Dąbrówka
Morska, and its small tributary, Serafa River near Kraków.
